Resolution
Onboarding notifications have functionality "Resend on updated condition of due date". This option is available in "Reminder Configuration" tab for each notification.
Reminders are sent depending on the due date settings. By default, due date for reminder is not changed even if "due date" itself is changed.
If you would like to resend reminder depends on due date, the option "Resend on updated condition of due date" must be turned on.
If due date which is used for a notification is changed and at this moment the notification is already completed, reminder will not be resent.
