Symptom

  • Implementing SAP Work Manager with SAP SMP SDK 70.16.0.1 for Android with Zxing library to provide barcode scanning.
  • Users experience slow performance (5 sec delay) when operating with Zxing Library 4.0 on client via intent ->  com.google.zxing.client.android.Intents.Scan.ACTION. 
  • Request for an updated Zxing Library 4.7.8 (via github) with an updated SDK version to eliminate performance issue.
