2604397 - What permissions does user at least need to import data into a model in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)?

• SAP Analytics Cloud allows users to import data from a file or datasource to create a new model or import data into an existing model.
• What permissions are at least required to import model from file.
• This error may also occur:
• You'll need additional privileges on the model or dimensions to run the import job.

The following permissions are required to import data into a model:

• Create permission on either Analytic Model or Planning Model.
• Execute permission on Personal Data Acquisition.
  => Without this permission, you cannot choose option "Import a file from your computer" to create a new model.
• Create and Read permissions on Connection.
  => Without the two permission, you will get error message "The upload failed due to an unexpected internal server error. Please try again later. If the problem persists, please contact your system administrator" when uploading file.
• Create permission on Dimension.
  => Without this permission, you will get error message like "Model <dimension name> creation has failed. <...> "error":"You are not authorized to Create Dimension <dimension name>."" when creating model.
• Users also need the Read and Maintain model permissions to upload/change data for existing models. See Model and Version Security and Model Administration Scenarios.
• Users need permissions in two places in order to perform actions on a model: they need the general application permission (via role) to Read, Update, Delete, or Maintain analytic or planning models, and they also need the Read, Update, Delete, or Maintain permission granted via the Sharing Settings directly on the model itself.
