2604818 - Follow Button is not Enabled Automatically after the Creation of Lead

Symptom

You have created a lead and you expect the follow button to be enabled automatically so that you will track the progress updates.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Sales Campaign workcenter
  2. Go to Leads View
  3. Select New
  4. Enter the mandatory details
  5. Select Save and Open

Once the lead is created and opened, you see that the follow button is not enabled for your user.

Cause

There are two owners in the lead; one is owner and the other is Sales Owner. For the follow button to be enabled automatically, the owner should be the same as the logon user at the time of creation of Lead.

Resolution

This is the expected system behavior.
