Symptom
-
Shutdown ASE in command line (ISQL) or through the Windows service hangs.
- Check sp_who there is AUDIT PROCESS in sleeping status and here is the stacktrace of the audit process:
1> dbcc stacktrace(SPID)
2> go
A SHUTDOWN command is already in progress. Please log off.
Start dbcc stacktrace...
