2605561 - Compensation Statement brings only numeric values - Compensation

Symptom

In the generated standard compensation statement, the performance rating is displayed as its numeric value, whereas in the compensation form it is displayed as the corresponding label.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Compensation

Reproducing the Issue

  1. In the Compensation Template set your Rating Label Format as 'Text' or 'Number-Text' in Display Settings
  2. Launch a form
  3. Confirm value has the text
  4. Complete it and then Generate a Statement
  5. Rating field value is showing as Number despite of the selected Rating Label Format.

Cause

This is an expected behavior, currently Standard Compensation Statement only supports numeric value.

Resolution

There is already an open enhancement request to support Text and Number-Text statement rating values. The Engineering team will analyze the feasibility of implementing this functionality.

If using Text and/or Number-Text statement rating values is a significant requirement, you may consider using a customized Compensation Statement as an alternative. Please check this article 2084848 - Statements - Costs and Process to Personalize Compensation Statements - Compensation.
