2607402 - License heartbeat could not regenerate suitable CP license when decreasing number of CPU cores - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • If there's enough CP floating licenses. ASE can find new CP license from SYSAM license server without reboot when increasing number of CPU cores.
  • When attempting to decrease number of CPU cores ASE will not generate new suitable CP license.
