• How to mass update the Required Date of Items already assigned to Users?
• When changing the Required Date of an already Assigned Item through Import Data tool, will the the User lose their progress?

It is possible to use the Import Data Tool to mass update the Required Date of already assigned Items, as per the steps below:

1. Learning Administration > 
2. Navigate to System Administration >
3. System Management Tools > 
4. Import Data >
5. Download the 'Learning Assignment' template, which will be used to update the Required Date >
   
6. Fill the template with the details from all users and items which you would like to update the Required Date >
7. Find below an example, it was provided the UserID, the Item Details, the Action column was set to Update and the Required Date column with the new value >
   
8. Save your file > 
9. Go back to Learning Administration >
10. Import Data tool >
11. Import the file using the Import Data Tool (find below an example on how to fill in the settings) >
    
12. Click 'Submit' >
13. After that, the Required Date for the Users and Items provided in the file will be updated >

Note: Upon updating the Required Date for already assigned Items, the User’s current progress in the courses will be preserved. Therefore, they will be able to continue the course from where they left off.
