2608627 - IDoc DESADV.DELVRY03 for ASN processing in SAP SNC failed in ERP.

Symptom

You are using ASN processing in SAP SNC with SAP ERP system. After publishing an ASN, you notice that DespatchedDeliveryNotification_Out XML message is generated successfully in SNC, but IDoc DESADV.DELVRY03(SAP ERP 6.0 and higher: DELVRY05) failed in ERP with below errors.

  • External identification number has more than 16 digits (Message no. VL840)
  • MPN material not allowed or not found (Message no. ME799)
