Symptom

  • ASE migrated from version 15.0.3 ESD#4.3 to 15.7 SP138
  • From application side there is a query that is executed and sometimes it runs very quickly, but sometimes it appears to hang (on business hours).
  • When it does hang, the query appears to create 'Worker Processes'.
