2609166 - The Export Button is Deactivated in Serial Inventory Overview

You have recorded Serial Numbers against a Material XYZ (XYZ represents the Material ID) and maintained the Serial Number Profile ‘Mandatory on all Logistics & Production Processes’ in the Material Master Data.

Now you want to export the Serial Numbers to Microsoft Excel, and for that you navigate to the Common Tasks view of any of the work centers where the Serial Inventory Overview is available.

You open the Serial Inventory Overview, the Serial Numbers are displayed, but the Export button to export the displayed Serial Numbers to Excel is greyed out.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Inbound Logistics work center.
2. Select the Serial Inventory Overview under Common Tasks list.
3. Enter the Material ID XYZ.
4. Click the Go button.
5. Note that the Serial Numbers are displayed, but the Export button is not active, so the Serial Numbers are unable to be export to Excel.

You have not selected the Serial Number for exporting to Excel.

You must select any of the displayed Serial Number to activate the Export button.

This is expected system behavior.
