2609514 - Model names cannot be changed after creation in SAP Analytics Cloud

After creating and saving the model, the name of the model cannot be changed in SAP Analytics Cloud.

SAP Analytics Cloud 

1. Logon to SAC.
2. Create a model. 
3. Notice that it is not possible to rename it.

This is a by design behavior. After creating and saving the model it is not possible to rename it anymore.

An improvement request has already been submitted for this feature: Models - Rename and change properties

WORKAROUND:

You can copy an existing model and give it a new name. For further information how to copy an existing model check the Copying a Model section in our user's guide page.
