2609800 - Data Flow issue in case of Internal Hire - Onboarding 1.0 [Crossboarding] [Problem: User Handling]

Symptom

When candiadte is getting hired again as an Internal hire, previous records of the candidate appended to the new record.

Reproducing the Issue

Hire candidate again as internal user and previous Onboarding HRData values appear.

Cause

Since candidate is hired again as internal user, data merging happens - so the old hrdata values are retained and if any hrdata key gets a new value becuase of rehiring, then the old value is overwritten.

Resolution

  1. This data merging can be turned on and off by the customer.
  2. You can change this to either not copy and copy only selected keys to avoid this issue.
  3. Go to Super Admin Site - > Select Account - > Features - > Internal Hire - > Select Process. You can see the options here which can be configured accordingly.
