We need to be able to display the Instructor Biography to the Users in LMS when enrolling for Instructor Led Courses

Instructor has the Biography set in the Instructor record as seen from the admin side in LMS

The user needs to see this Biography on the user side when enrolling for the course.

The instructor biography is present in the curricula 'cover page'.  From admin, you will want to select a curricula > select Cover Page in top right and create your cover page from there.  In order to active the instructor tile you will need to select one of the side bar options from the Layout drop down when editing the curricula cover page.  Once you activate the Cover Page for curricula the user will be able to view the instructor bio from the learning plan.  Below is a summary of the curriculum cover page.

Curriculum Cover Page

Administrators can create custom HTML enabled landing pages for curricula which provide admins the tools they need to deliver tailored information about a curriculum to end users.  A source code view provides added design flexibility.  The cover pages can also be created in different languages for international audiences.

Admins can access the cover page on the Curriculum record.  They can choose one of three available layouts and make edits to each content area of the layout.  A Preview button is also available to view the edits.  Once changes are saved the admin can activate the cover page and make it visible to end users.

Available from b1402, the cover page can include new sidebar content tiles for ‘Current Instructors’ and ‘Upcoming Courses’.

Instructor tile: Displays a list of the primary instructors who are currently scheduled to teach a future offering of the items within the curriculum.  If the instructor record is linked to a related user in Learning, the tile will also display the photo and job title associated to the user.  Clicking on an instructor’s name will display additional information such as the Instructor Biography (new field on Instructor record) and a list of other items the instructor is scheduled to teach.

Scheduled Offering tile: Dynamically displays the first few offerings of items in the curriculum that have a future start date, are in the user’s catalog, and those that the user is not already enrolled.  The results will sort first by offerings in the user's region.  The user can page through up to 20 offerings (cannot be changed). Clicking on an offering will open the Offering Details.

Curriculum cover pages are supported only with the Recommended User Interface Display feature enabled.
