2610006 - Gray metrics for PUSH_GENERIC metrics due to error "Configuration XML likely did not reach the agent"

Symptom

  •  You see grey metrics in System Monitoring for PUSH_GENERIC metrics and when doing a Data Collection Check the next error is displayed: "Configuration XML <zyx> likely did not reach the agent. Agent XML: <xyz>"
  • Visiting the e2emai logs of an agent, you see many authorization or permission errors:

Caused by: javax.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException: Permission denied

Caused by: com.sun.xml.internal.ws.client.ClientTransportException: The server sent HTTP status code 401: Unauthorized
