2610320 - "Service ? unknown" when trying to connect to BW system via OLAP connection with server type set to "Group"

When trying to connect from Analysis Office to a BW system via OLAP connection defined in CMC with server type "Group", the error below occurs:

• SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office, edition for SAP Analytics Cloud

1. Create an OLAP connection in CMC to a BW system with server type set to "Group" to use message server;
2. Try to connect to the OLAP connection via Analysis for Office;
3. Confirm the error "service '?' unknown".

Configuration issue due to the missing port number in the OLAP connection definition on BIP / CMC.

1. Add the port number in form of SAP Router string (/H/<server>/S/<port>) to the 'Message Server' parameter of OLAP connection on CMC.
   The port number of the particular message server can be viewed using transaction SMMS on SAP GUI.
   
   E.g. If 'Message Server' parameter of OLAP connection is defined as 'sapmsB8R' that shall be changed to /H/sapmsB8R/S/3070    
   
   
2. If the error message is still there, please make sure that the port information for the particular system is maintained in file   C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\services    
   (please note that this file has no file extension. See SAP Note 2538992 for details)
   
   E.g.    sapmsB8R   3070/tcp  or   sapsp47   3447/tcp
