2610409 - Users are unable to choose their own user ID while registering on Sites

• Customer is using Learning Sites and allows external users to self-register. The user ID is generated automatically.
• Can we configure it so users can choose their own user ID?

1. Access your site
2. On the login page, click  "Register Now"
3. On the registration page, the User ID is already populated

The site is set up to not allow users to choose their User ID while registering.

To enable to external users to create their own user ID, follow the steps below:

1. Login to LMS as an admin
2. Go to System Administration> Application Administration> User-Created Account
3. Put a checkmark on the "Allow Users to choose an ID while creating a new account."
4. Apply Changes
