2610510 - Error Message: "No Phone Number Found for Tax Payer Party Contact Person" While Releasing Tax Returns

You are trying to release tax returns in Tax Management work center, but you are receiving the below error message:

"No phone number found for tax payer party contact person"

SAP Business ByDesign 1711 and higher.

1. Go to Tax Management work center;
2. Click on Withholding Tax Returns view;
3. Select Tax Return ID XXX; (XXX represents the ID of the Tax Return)
4. Click Release;
5. Receive error message.

The error shows up when you have not maintained the necessary contact details of the Person Responsible for the tax return type.

To maintain the contact details, you can follow the steps below:

1. Go to Tax Management work center;
2. Go to Withholding Tax Returns view;
3. Select the Tax Return ID XXX;
4. On this same screen, in the General Information section, click on the Tax Authority name;
5. On the screen that opens, click on Edit -> Company Tax Arrangement;
6. Go to the tab Tax Return Arrangements;
7. Double-click the Person Responsible for the tax return type from the tax return that has the error message;
8. Click You Can Also and select Open Personnel File;
9. Select Personal Data tab;
10. Select Private Contact Data sub tab;
11. Maintain the details there;
12. Click Save.
