2611728 - RAM failed to resume after MS Windows reboot - SRS

Symptom

  • RepAgent for MSSQL (RAM) will not go to REPLICATING state
     

    • ra_status
      State Action
      ----------------- ------------------------------
      REPLICATION DOWN Waiting for operator command.

    • resume
      Command<resume> failed - Transaction LogReader Initialization Failed.
       
  • RAM log prints the following messages:
     

    • WARNING com.sybase.ra.la.mssql.Catalog The expected <xlog_ra_chek_object_table> entry is not in the repository so cannot be searched for in the database.

    • ERROR com.sybase.ra.la.mssql.RAMLogAdmin Incomplete initialization -- Repository is initialized but not all the required Agent objects with prefix <ra_> exist at the primary database. You must re-initialize.
