2611733 - Incorrect rs_marker statement brings RepAgent (RAT) down in primary ASE - SRS

Symptom

  • When an incorrect command "execute rs_marker ‘resync MYDB'" is executed,
  • ASE errorlog reports the following errors

Shutting down Rep Agent for database, ' MYDB' (dbid = 8).
Started Rep Agent on database, ' MYDB' (dbid = 8).
RepAgent(8): Error in passthru packet: 'xxxxxxxx'.
RepAgent(8): Received the following error message from the Replication Server: Msg 2056. Line 1, character 91: Incorrect syntax with ' MYDB'..
Error: 9261, Severity: 20, State: 0
RepAgent(8): This Rep Agent Thread is aborting due to an unrecoverable communications or Replication Server error.
Rep Agent Thread for database 'MYDB' (dbid = 8) terminated abnormally with error. (major 92, minor 61)
