2612231 - Assigned sender and receiver channels are not configured for the same Adapter Engine

You are trying configure an Integration Configuration on your Central Adapter Engine(CAE). You have a non-central Adapter Engine (nnCAE) or in other words a Decentral Adapter Engine(DAE) installed in a Demilitarized Zone(DMZ). You would like to receive messages on the Decentral Adapter Engine and route the messages to the Central Adapter Engine. You have set up the following Integrated Configuration:

• Inbound Processing is set to a sender communication channel on the Decentral Adapter Engine(DAE).
• Outbound Processing is set to a receiver communication channel on the Central Adapter Engine(CAE).

When you try to save the Integration Configuration in the Integration Builder you get the following error:

Assigned sender and receiver channels are not configured for the same Adapter Engine; ensure that all channels are configured for the same Adapter Engine.
