2612237 - After upgrade spid hanging in send sleep - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Upgrade ASE 15.0.3 (AIX) to ASE 15.7 SP139 (Linux)
  • Application connecting to ASE using jConn4
  • sp_who show process in send_sleep
  • Killing the process in send_sleep and restarting application, the job will finish
  • dbcc stacktrace on the process in send_sleep shows some of the following functions:

upsleepgeneric
ussflush
sendbuffer
sendbyte
LeSendRow::_sendColsToClient
LeSendRow::sendRowToClient
LeEmitSndOp::_LeOpNext
LePlanNext
exec_lava
s_execute
