2612357 - Not Valid Version of Quality Code Catalog Can Be Selected for an Inspection Plan

You are able to enter a not valid version of the Quality Code Catalog XXX when creating an Inspection Plan.

XXX = Catalog ID

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to Quality Planning work center.
2. Select New Inspection Plan common task.
3. Fill all the required information.
4. Select Next.
5. Choose Quality Code tab.
6. Select Add Row.
7. Select the Value Selection for Code ID.
8. Search for Quality Code Catalog XXX.

Notice that the system is displaying a version of Quality Code Catalog which is not valid anymore.

To check if the version of Quality Code Catalog is valid:

1. Go to Quality Planning work center.
2. Select Quality Code Catalogs view.
3. Search for the Quality Code Catalog XXX.

Here you can check it in the Catalog Version column.

The Code ID that you get is from the Inspection Plan. When you try to record defect for an Inspection, Inspection Plan is selected, which has quality codes from not valid Version of Quality Code Catalog XXX as assigned quality codes.

You need to select the Code ID in the Inspection Plan.
