2613693 - How to convert certificates to Base64 (.cer) format

Customer needs to update SAML Verifying Certificate in SSO settings however Customer has sent the certificate not in Base64 format.

1. Open Certificate using Notepad/Notepad++
2. Certificate shows a bunch of special characters

The certificate is in an unsupported format and requires conversion to Base-64 encoded X.509 (.CER) format.

Convert customer's certificate to Base64 with steps below:

1. Open Certificate
2. Click on 'Details' Tab
3. Click on 'Copy to File...'
    
   
   
4. Click Next
   
   
   
   
5. Select Base-64 encoded X.509
   
   
6. Click Browse.
7. Select the folder where you want to save the certificate.
8. Enter a file name (for example, certificate.cer).
9. Click Save.
10. Click Next to continue.
    
    
    
    
11. Click on Finish
    
    
    
    
12. Right click on 'File Name' and click Edit with Notepad
