Symptom



IQ Cockpit cannot start / stop with an error.


    

  • start fail

    > %SYBASE%\COCKPIT-4\bin\cockpit.bat
    Failed to start agent: Cockpit is currently running. Please use cockpit{.bat/.sh} -stop to shutdown the currently running server
    • 

  • stop fail

    > %SYBASE%\COCKPIT-4\bin\cockpit.bat -stop
    Operation failed: Shutdown failed: permission denied.
