2614071 - Add SiteID to UserID for External Users

You would like to configure the Auto Generated IDs to include the SiteID to the UserID for external users that register into LMS through an external site.

It is not possible to have the SiteID added to the UserID.

You can set a Site Prefix, which must be positive 3 digit number. The Site Prefix can be set at the Global Variables:

1. From Learning Administration, go to System Admin > Configuration > Global Variables
2. Search for Site Prefix

Then, you can go to Auto Generated IDs (System Admin > Application Admin) and enable the Site Prefix:

The Site Prefix will always be the one you configured at the Global Variables and it can be added to Items, Equipment and Instructors too (if configured).

Currently, LMS does not have the option to have the SiteID included as a prefix for each site. We encourage you to submit an enhancement request to have this functionality considered within future development cycles.
