2614088 - Unable to login to CMC / BI Launchpad after a new BI install

Symptom

  • Error "FWM 20032|Could not reach CMS <hostname:port>. The CMS on machine <hostname> was stopped due to critical errors" when logging into Central Management Console (CMC) after a fresh install of BI
  • Error "CMS is unstable and will shut down immediately. Reason: Database access error. Reason [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server]CREATE TABLE permission denied in database 'master'.. (FWB 00087)" can be seen in the setupengine.log file
  • Although the Server Intelligence Agenct (SIA) can be started, cms.exe and all other BusinessObjects processes cannot be seen in the Task Manager
