Symptom
Can a user still access the mobile app if the RBP permission "General User Permissions" > "User Login" is removed from the user role?
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Mobile
- SAP SuccessFactors HCM Core
Reproducing the Issue
Scenario 1: User who has activated and logged in to the mobile app
- Login to SF via web
- Go to Manage Permission Roles
- Edit user permission role to remove permission "General User Permissions" > "User Login"
Result: User is still able to log into the mobile app
Scenario 2: User who has NOT activated and logged in to the mobile app.
- Login to SF via web
- Go to Manage Permission Roles
- Edit user permission to remove permission "General User Permissions" > "User Login"
- On the mobile device, install and activate the mobile app
Result: User is unable to access the mobile app until the "User Login" is granted to the user's role.
Resolution
This is an expected behavior where existing users who have activated and logged in to the mobile prior to removing the permission "User Login" will still have access to the mobile app.
