Symptom

  • Need to use ApplicatoinIntent=ReadOnly.
  • Need to connect to the database for profiling in read only mode.
  • Profile or running rules in read only mode.
  • User permissions vs connection string.
  • Data Insight application is blocked by the database being profiled since it does not send ApplicationIntent=ReadOnly flag in the connection string.
