2614474 - How is Current Competency Rating is calculated in Development Plan?

When trying to create a learning activity in Development plan via "Search By Competency", there is a Current Rating shown for the selected Competency. How is this Rating Calculated?

SAP SuccessFactors Career Development Plan

1. Go to Development Plan;
2. Add a new Goal, or add an activity for an existing Goal;
3. Select Add New Learning Activity > Search by Competency (Find learning activities according to the competencies associated with the development goal, if there is no competencies field define or no competency selected, this option will be hidden);
4. Current Rating for the competency is displayed:

When adding a Learning Activity by Competency, the system will display the user's current rating and the expected rating for each of the Competencies to guide the user on how much they need to work on each of them. When adding it via the Career Development Plan, the system will consider the expected rating from the user's current role. The Current Rating is the competency ratings for the user provided in Competency Assessment Performance or 360 Forms, where the user was rated on the target competency associated to the Learning course/item.

Development Plan shows the latest rating for the target competency, provided to the user you are seeing the plan. Averaging of all found ratings for the competency is not supported in this area of the system.
