2614772 - Error: [WSock32 DLL] 10053 WSA E ConnAborted: Software caused connection abort [Teradata][ODBC Teradata Driver] Not enough information to log on - SAP Data Services 4.x

Symptom

  • When launching job in SAP Data Services Designer you receive the following error in log:

    "ODBC call <SQLDriverConnect> for data source <data_source_name> failed: <[WSock32 DLL] 10053 WSA E ConnAborted: Software caused connection abort [Teradata][ODBC Teradata Driver] Not enough information to log on>"

  • When trying to import a table from Teradata database you will receive the following error:

    "Error: Cannot import metadata. ODBC data source <data_source_name> error message for operation <SQLTables>: <[Teradata][socket error] (426) WSA E ConnAborted: Software caused connection abort>. (BODI-1112338)"
