Symptom

  • When creating or editing a report in Crystal Reports for Enterprise, the user is prompted for the database logon credential.
  • When connecting to the same data source in Web Intelligence, it does not prompt for the database logon credential.
  • When using the SAP BusinessObjects BI Administrators, it does not prompt for the database logon when creating or editing a report in Crystal Reports for Enterprise
  • Tthe affected user to the Administrators group, within SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform, prevents this issue.
