2615684 - BODI-320006 Cannot connect to SQL Server - Data Services

Symptom

  • I cannot connect to the database in Data Services repository manager.
  • Cannot create or upgrade a repository using repository manager.
  • Error:  BODI-320006: Cannot open connection to the repository. The error message from the underlying DBMS is <ODBC call <SQLDriverConnect> to connect database <Database_Name> failed with error: <ODBC call <SQLDriverConnect> for data source <DSN> failed: <[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]SQL Server does not exist or access denied. [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]ConnectionOpen (Connect()).>. Notify Customer Support.>. Use the ODBCDriverSelector (Windows) or DSConnectionManager.sh (UNIX) utility in LINK_DIR/bin to configure the correct version of the driver. If the problem still exists after selecting the correct version of the driver, notify Customer Support.>.
