2615691 - Program Type can't be changed when copying

Why is it not possible to change the Type of a Program when copying it?

When doing this same action for a single Item it is possible to change the Item Type. What is the reason behind this?

1. Open an existing Program record
2. Click on Copy
3. Type is not changeable

Program type is set when a Program is created and cannot be changed during editing because many rules within the system rely on the type of a program. For example, you must propagate changes to a scheduled type program.

For this reason, changes are not allowed to the Program type after creation.

When copying a Pogram this also applies and there is no option to change the program type during the copy process.

If it is required to duplicate a program while changing the program type, this will require creation of a new program.
