Symptom

Image/Data is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems.  Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.”

  • You are running SAP Contact Center (CCtr)
  • You noticed IA "Infrastructure Administrator" is logging a "Near failure" message for the Data Collector Module

  • IA logs show errors like:
    • ERR> Failed to connect to configuration database using [Driver=SQL Server;Server=SERVER\INSTANCE;Database=SAPSUPP;Trusted_Connection=yes]
    • ERR> SQLDriverConnect failed (/08001/[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]SQL Server does not exist or access denied
  • DataCollector logs show:
    • WRN> Server health set to NEAR FAILURE due to no database destinations
    • ERR> Failed to connect to configuration database using [Driver=SQL Server;Server=SERVER\INSTANCE;Database=SAPSUPP...]
  • But the above error could be for any of the other databases
