2615814 - Operation not Permitted; Product has a Deviation

While trying to perform Late Delivery Split in a Pick task you get the error : Operation not Permitted; Product has a Deviation

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to Outbound Logistics work center.
2. Navigate to the Task Control view.
3. Search for the relevant task, select it and choose the Confirm button.
4. Enter the Actual Quantities value in the line items you need to deliver.
5. Choose the Late Delivery Split button.

You see the system displays the above reported error.

There is a line item in the task for which you have maintained Deviation Reason. This deviation reason has to be either Accepted or Rejected by your warehouse manager. This activity needs to be performed in the warehouse order mapped to the pick task for which you are trying to perform Late Delivery Split.

Please follow the below given steps to process the deviation maintained in your pick task.

1. Go to the Outbound Logistics work center.
2. Navigate to the Monitoring: By Warehouse Order view.
3. Select the warehouse order mapped to the pick task you are trying to perform Late Delivery Split.
4. Choose the Edit button and navigate to the Operations tab.
5. You will be able to see Red traffic line against the line item for which the deviation has to be processed.
6. Select the line item and choose Accept Deviation, Accept Deviation and Reject Open Quantity or Reprocess Open Quantity option as per your business requirement.

Once the above steps are performed you will be able to perform Late Delivery Split for your pick task.
