Symptom
When inserting email token, label of field mapped to custom token is not displaying.
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Reproducing the Issue
- Within Recruiting Management system, go to any page that allows editing an email body.
- Rich Text Editor buttons are available in the email body section. Click on 3 dots button and choose "Insert Token".
- In the token search screen that appears, search for keyword "custom".
- Notice that label of field mapped to custom token is not displaying.
Cause
The behavior occurs when the field mapped to custom token is either:
- Not configured or defined in the required templates
- The field is configured, but "field id" is in incorrect format (standard field ID is case sensitive)
Resolution
- Before mapping a field id to a custom token, ensure that the field is defined in the Recruiting template (Job Requisition, Job Application, Candidate Profile, Offer Detail).
- The field ID is case sensitive, so ensure that for standard fields configured, the correct field id format is followed.
