2616337 - SAP Cloud Connector - AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException - Connection timed out

Symptom

SAP Cloud Connector (SCC)has network connection issue. After restarting the SCC service it may work fine for few hours.

The following relevant exception can be captured in the ljs_trace or scc_core.trc file:

#ERROR#com.sap.core.connectivity.tunnel.client.notification.NotificationClientEventHandler#Thread-30#         #Unexpected exception while establishing tunnel connection for tunnel: account:///<Subaccount Name>
io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException: Connection timed out: no further information: <Host Region>/<Host Region IP Address> 

or

#ERROR#com.sap.core.connectivity.tunnel.client.application.ApplicationClientConnectTask#Thread-26#          #Unexpected exception while establishing application tunnel connection for tunnelId: account:////<Subaccount Name>
io.netty.channel.ConnectTimeoutException: connection timed out after 30000 ms: <Host Region>/<Host Region IP Address>
