2618328 - Maximum number of input values for one variable in prompt

In Analysis for Office, when selecting many values for one variable in prompt, message "Cannot display all values" is displayed.

SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office

1. Open a query/workbook in Analysis Office.

2. In prompt screen, click "Add Lines Using Filter By Member" for one variable.

3. Select mutiple values(more than 50) for one variable, message "Cannot display all values" is displayed.

The maximum number of input values for one variable in prompt in Analysis for office is 50.

When the number exceeds 50, warning message "Cannot display all values" is displayed.

There is no parameter to change the maximum number limitation 50.

"Cannot display all values" is just a warning message but not an error message.
If you need to select 50+ values, you can ignore the warning message and go on clicking 'OK' button, the selected value will still be reflected to the variable.
If you do not need to select 50+ values, you may click the selector button to select and reduce the number of values to less than 50, then the message will disapear.

In AO 2.4 SP2 and lower version, there are known bugs such as:
1).After message "Cannot display all values” is displayed, you are unable to change the value for this variable because there's no button to show the selector (Details in Note 2428221). 
2). Message "Cannot display all values" is displayed and you do not change the value for this variable, after confirming with OK button or saving all variable vaules in a variant and reloading, all members are removed from the variable and the message "Specify a value for variable" is displayed (Details in Note 2467459).

To solve these two issues, please upgarde the AO version to the latest version. You may refer to Note 1518359 for AO versions' release schedule.
