2618395 - Creating E-Mail Activity via WebService ManageEmailActivityIn and via UI

When you create a New E-mail Activity via WebService ManageEmailActivityIn or via UI, you receive an error: Sending e-mail not possible; sender must be the logged-in user.

1. Go to the Account Management work center.
2. Go to the New E-Mail common tasks.
3. You complete the mandatory information and the following error appears: Sending e-mail not possible; sender must be the logged-in user.

You can create the E-Mail also from the WebService ManageEmailActivityIn following the documentation available in the system, find it on See Also.

This error is appearing due to the user log in. The same user who is logged in, needs to be the one who is considered as From in the E-mail Activity. Note that if you are creating the E-Mail Activity via WebService, you need to log in the ByD system with the same user to send/release the activity, this functionality is not available in WebService.

To solve the issue, log in with the correct user (the one who is sending the email). After that, no error will be faced.
