2618917 - Input Product Added Manually Missing in Supply Task

In a production proposal you have manually added the Input Product ABC which is not maintained in the standard BoM. Then you released the corresponding production order, which created the Supply Task XXX. But in this task you are not able to see the manually added Input Product ABC.

XXX = Supply Task ID

ABC = Product ID

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to Production Control work center.
2. Choose Task Control view.
3. Search for the Supply Task XXX.
4. Select the Supply Task XXX.
5. Select Confirm.

Notice that the Product ABC which you added manually is missing.

By-Default the manually added Input Product will not be added to Supply to Production process. You need to manually add it before releasing the Production Order.

Please note that the resolution cannot be applied if the Supply Task is already created. You need to follow the steps below before releasing the Production Order:

1. Go to Production Control work center.
2. Choose Production Orders view.
3. Search for the corresponding Production Order.
4. Open the corresponding Production Order.
5. Choose View All.
6. Select Products tab.
7. Select Input Products subtab.
8. Check the box Supply to Production for Line Item you added manually.
