2619001 - Placing multiple tables on canvas at once results in all being added as source - Data Services

Symptom

  • Selecting multiple tables from a datastore and placing them on the canvas results in all tables becoming source objects
  • In Designer there is no option to allow multiple tables to be added to the dataflow as targets at the same time
  • Is there a setting to force multiple tables to be added to a dataflow as targets?
  • When dragging a single table from a datastore to the canvas there is an option to specify if it is a source or target
  • No prompt to add tables to a dataflow as a target when more than one table is selected from a datastore
