SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

2619602 - Show values on objects in a UNX universe connected to DB2 database fail with "The statement string of the PREPARE or EXECUTE IMMEDIATE statement is blank or empty. SQLSTATE=42617"

Symptom

  • A Webi report based on .unx universe using DB2 database gives error: "A database error has occurred (IES 10901)".
  • Show values on objects in BLX gives error:"[IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/LINUXX8664] SQL0198N The statement string of the PREPARE or EXECUTE IMMEDIATE statement is blank or empty".
