2620588 - How to use Migration Objects template for Data Migration Cockpit

Several data and configuration issues might happen during the import of content in Migration Cockpit due to incorrect manipulation of data in Migration Object Templates.

• SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Copy and paste information into XML Template (using Excel tool) keeping the source formatting.

When copying data to a sheet from Microsoft Excel, always right-click the relevant cell and choose the paste option Values (V). Avoid pasting data that includes formatting and formulas into the migration template, as this will corrupt the structure of the XML migration template.

Always read the Introduction sheet of the migration template and follow the instructions given there.
