2621101 - Application Error When Editing Payment Information

Symptom

Payment information is displaying a system error while been modified or created.

Environment

Employee Central - Payment Information

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to a User
  2. Select Payment Information Portlet
  3. Click to edit
  4. Error displays:  "An application error occurred. Please try again later, or noti6j support if the Issue keeps occurring."

Cause

The wrong payment information screen is set in Configure People Profile.

After a release, it may happen that the configuration UI screen is updated. As a result, if you were using the default configuration screen, during update the default Config UI Screen may be updated.

When this happens you may get some error.

That is why is recommended to rename the default Config UI so that it does not get affected by update.

Resolution

If you encounter error after any release, ensure that you have the correct payment information screen is set in Configure People Profile
