SAML Authentication fails when Tomcat is behind Load Balancer or Reverse Proxy
- How to configure SAML authentication to allow the use of a load balancer or reverse proxy
SAP can assist with SAP product issues with SAML authentication such as setting up the documented portion in the Administrator's guide. However in most cases the workflow includes 3rd party products and configuration which are not the responsibility of SAP. 3rd party authentication/configuration issues do not qualify for very high support, production go-lives, or development escalations. Please seek your own 3rd party experts, or external consultants, for these types of issues. SAP can provide assistance to help troubleshoot problems with 3rd party products via this KBA on a best effort basis. Refer to SAP Notes 83020 or 1054121 for more information.
