2622008 - National ID missing the last three digits if the report is being exported in .CSV format

Symptom

  • National ID missing the last three digits if the report is being exported in .CSV format
  • Any field with more that 15 digits gets rounded off while exporting in .CSV format
  • .CSV formats exports give scientific notation for long number fields

Environment

SuccessFactors BizX

Online report designer

Reproducing the Issue

Create a report using national Id field (only numbers if applicable) and try exporting the same in .CSV format
Any numerical field that holds more than 15 digits as well can be used.

Cause

.CSV format treats the columns by default in number format and hence it rounds it off in scientific notation if the length exceeds 15 digits.

Resolution

This is an expected behaviour and the advisable format to export such data is .xlsx
This is a limitation with the file format itself and SuccessFactors has no control over it
