Symptom

  • Job fails with Communication Link Failure
  • Loading to Azure SQL database is slow when using Auto Correct on the target table
  • Job completes successfully when not using auto correct load
  • Job hangs loading to Azure
  • Monitor log shows the buffer is full (5:5) reading and loading to Azure
  • Job connecting to Azure SQL database fails with:

[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0]Communication link failure
[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0]TCP Provider: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
