Symptom

While performing an upgrade with Software Update Manager (SUM), the following error occurs in phase PREP_INPUT/HA_SYSTEM_CHK:

EXECUTING /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run/sapcontrol -format script -prot NI_HTTP -host <hostname> -nr XX -function HAGetFailoverConfig

FAIL: NIECONN_REFUSED (Connection refused), NiRawConnect failed in plugin_fopen()
SAPup Process with PID <pid> terminated with status 1 at <timestamp>!


Referencing SAP Note 1565645, the file /tmp/.sapstream5YY13 can be found instead of /tmp/.sapstream5XX13.
