2623008 - Without Order Completion or With Order Completion Option not Available in Service Confirmation

When creating a Service Confirmation there are no selection options available for the Release button. You expect that the option Without Order Completion and the option With Order Completion can be selected in the drop-down list for the Release button.

1. Go to the Field Service and Repair work center.
2. Select the Service Confirmation view.
3. Open service confirmation XYZ (XYZ represents the ID of the service confirmation).

When choosing Release the options

• Without Order Completion
• With Order Completion

are not available.

You scoped the approval process for service confirmations. Once the approval process for service confirmations is scoped the options Without Order Completion and With Order Completion for the Release button are not available anymore. The service confirmation will be sent for approval. After approval it is released automatically for further processing without order completion. You have to complete the execution manually in the sales order or service order for which the service confirmation was created.

You can either de-scope the approval process for the service confirmation or compete the execution manually in the sales order/service order.

How to de-activate the approval process:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Select the Implementation Projects view.
3. Select the respective implement project.
4. Click on the Edit Project Scope button.
5. Navigate to the Questions step.
6. Select the Element Service Confirmation under the following path:
7. Service -> Service and Repair -> Service Confirmation
8. You can de-activate the following question under the group Service Confirmation Approval:

How to complete the execution manually once the service confirmation has been released in the underlying document e.g. in a Sales Order:

1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
2. Select the Sales Orders view.
3. Open the sales order ACB (ABC represents the sales order ID for which the service confirmation XYZ was created).
4. You can complete the service execution for all items on header level by clicking the Submit button and selecting the Complete Service Execution option.
   You can complete the service execution for a specific item as follows:
5. Navigate to the Items tab.
6. Select the respective line item.
7. Click on the Complete Execution button.
8. Save your changes.
